Pygmy seahorses

Pygmy  seahorses
Pygmy seahorses are the smallest seahorses in the world. they are 2cm.

So the pygmy seahorses blend with orange sea fans or predators will eat them Purple seahorses blend in with purple sea fans. But the question is do they turn purple?  nobody knows till 2014.

 Somebody  brought a couple of  pygmy seahorses and put them into an aquarium and they had babies from their dad. they started as a dull brown colour the baby seahorses were placed next to a purple sea fan and turned purple and grew bumps called tubercles

They can turn into more then purple and orange sea fans.the science name is hippocampus bargibanti  they watched their daily portrayed dance. and they returned them to their home. We humans think that we are mostly fixed but identity in the ocean is a mysterious thing.
